We are the most well-known and established DJ company in Garrett County. Founded in the 80s by the infamous Jonny Rock, Sounds Fun grew to managing dozens of DJs from Cumberland, MD to Morgantown, WV. With thousands of events to our name, we’ve played every venue and managed every type of celebration.
In 2015, Jonny was joined by the area’s most experienced wedding planner, Leigh Clarke. Together they developed a comprehensive process for managing elegant events. The company now focuses almost exclusively on weddings.
Every Sounds Fun DJ is equipped and trained to provide the best music performance and event management available in our market. Our DJs are kind, have a genuine desire to serve and understand a wide range of personality types and how get them to engage with one another.
Our music library contains over 60,000 songs, all purchased at the highest quality level so your
sound is pure and consistent. Our equipment is kept to top standards.
In case of technical problems, we always have a back-up plan.
For events not requiring the full Sounds Fun approach, we have a wide referral network and can match you with other DJs and entertainment professionals.

ABOUT JONNY:
Jonny started in the golden age of hair bands! He founded Garrett County’s most successful DJ company and has DJ’ed 1000s of weddings/events. He loves facilitating the celebration and especially enjoys when he sees all the guests go from prim + proper to a tie around the head. He loves to be serving and knowledgable. He also likes seeing how the music can create crowd reactions and loves being surprised by who is going to be the life of the party at every event.

ABOUT WALLY:
He began DJ assisting at the ripe young age of 12 and was a professional DJ by the time he was 17. He has DJ’ed over 500 weddings in his career.
Wally now in charge of booking gigs and training new DJs.

He loves people. He loves knowing them, helping them and feeling like he has made a difference. He is the type of person who would bend over backwards to help anyone.
